Road Trip Poets create a mix of acoustic trip-folk and folk-goth music, combining Baltimore story-telling, acoustic guitars and glorious percussive grooves. Performing as a three piece, the band includes guitars, hand-drums, and the world's one and only wireless electric washboard.
The trio consists of multi-instrumentalists: Eric Whitehair sings, and plays guitar and percussion (including the Washboard), Sandy West plays percussion from all over the world and sings, and Ed Eibel plays guitar, banjo, bass and other string instruments, blending music traditions to make a truly original sound.
The band writes and records original music, posted on Spotify and SoundCloud, and also posts performance videos on YouTube. Live shows inspire audiences listen, think, and groove along to the music. On top of original songs, Road Trip Poets play their take on 80s & 90s alt-rock in their own style.
